Hiram Lodge #1 AF & AM meets in the Lodge Building at 285 Whitney Avenue in New Haven, Connecticut. Chartered in 1750, we have been a part of the New Haven community for 265 years. We are the oldest lodge in the state and are proud to be a member of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of the State of Connecticut. We, along with over Ninety other lodges in our state are part of the estimated Six Million members of Free Masonry, world wide. Hiram Lodge #1 is a proud member of the New Haven community. We work hard to donate funds every year to the following local charities, who we feel reflect our goals and beliefs. See the list.
Meet our 2016 Officers, Click here. The New Haven Masonic Lodge pictured above has three lodge rooms. Built in 1926, This building is an historic landmark to our city and one of the last large Masonic buildings in the state. Brothers of our fraternity are invited to visit our lodge, as well as the three other “Blue Lodges” that meet here. There is also York Rite and Scottish Rite Masonry as well as New Haven DeMolay. (Youth group for boys). The general public is invited to tour the building at our annual “Open House” each October, or by appointment.
