Committee on Community Action
The Committee on Community Action consists of a minimum of nine members whose duty is to coordinate and promote involvement of Lodges in community activities to promote awareness of the fraternity by the general public.
Included in such activities are: outreach to widows, inactive or delinquent members, blood drives, charity dinners, prospective member programs, and interaction with other civic and service groups.
Masons learn that by improving themselves they automatically improve the communities they live in.
Masonic leaders are often leaders of their communities, and programs which organize and galvanize communities also make Masonry meaningful to the world.

On Saturday, October 20, an Open House will occur at every Masonic lodge in New England. To coordinate ideas and materials this space is available for members of Connecticut Masonic lodges to help them organize their own particular event. The public should use the various listings elsewhere on this website to find a Masonic lodge near them, and visit an Open House on October 20.
A number of presentations from the Open House seminar on July 30,2011, can be viewed and downloaded here after logging in.
As more materials become available they will be made accessible here.
You must log in to see the materials.
